What inspires our work?
Our Story
Inclusive Haven is a community-based organization pioneering disability inclusion at the early childhood level in Kenya. We believe that children with disabilities deserve early access to communication, learning, and supportive environments that nurture their potential from the very start of life.
Our work began in response to a gap we saw among families of young children with disabilities: limited access to sign language, early learning, and community support. Caregivers were navigating alone, and children were entering school without the tools to communicate or belong.
Inclusive Haven was created to change that reality. Today, we bring together caregivers, children, educators, and Deaf and disability advocates to build early language access, inclusive ECD practices, and community-driven support systems. Our story continues as we work to ensure that every child is seen, heard, and included from the beginning.
